The entire Cumberland County Wrestling team will keep you and your family in their hearts and prayers. It was a pleasure and a treat to watch Skyler wrestle. He was a very humble and polite man, who made his family and his team proud everytime he took the mat. There is a void now where Skyler once was.

Skyler was a joy to have in my program and I am a better person for having been blessed to have him for almost three years. Each day since I was told about this tragedy, I have relived those special movements and memories with him in my mind. Each and everyone of those moments were happy and made me smile. My prayers are with you and with those hundreds and hundreds of people who were touched by his influence. "Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted." May you find strength and comfort in our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Love you Skyler B.

Skyler was an amazing person. I had a few classes with him and he would always made me laugh. I remember one day their were some kids making fun of me because my eye twitches. He walked up behind me and asked if i was okay. i said yeah and he goes " dont let them get to you. Your a special person and one day they will get what they deserve." He always made me feel better about everything i was going through. Im so happy to of been able to know Skyler and talk to him. Even if it was just three or four times. Skyler made the class of 2013 what it was. I will never frget him.

I didn't know Skyler personally, but I saw him EVERYWHERE in high school. And every time I saw him, he had a smile on his face. He was laughing. Making other people laugh. Whenever I was around him, I would feel a positive presence. He was a nice kid. Good head on his shoulders, it seemed like. When I heard about your horrible death, I didn't sleep. I barely ate. I didn't listen to music. All I did was cry. You didn't deserve this. We love you, Rooster. Fly High In The Sky. <3>

Skylar, i still cant take this as been true but it is. we have so many memories but i can remember every morning before school you would text me or write me on facebook and say "goodmorning beautiful" or "wake and bake time". You might have been hated by some people but you are loved by many. i went to the hospital and there were over 100 people there for you. the whole wrestling team was there to support you Sky. Once the nurse came out and said your heart stopped, i broke down crying in tears.. You may be gone but you are truly not forgotten

And me and my friend were talking about how cute you were, and you just looked over and smiled and said you could hear us. And then we became great friends. We talked all the time. And I will miss those conversations so much. But I know now you're looking down on all of us, and protecting us. It looks like God just needed someone special to brighten up Heaven. I miss you so much. R.I.P. Skyler

Skyler I wish I knew what to say.
I worked with you for a few years and you always made the day a little more smooth. A little less stressful.
You always said "Jack! What up?" No matter where you would see me. At work or at your house when I came to hang with your mom. Or just passing by. You always said something no matter where u saw me.
Thanks for the memories.
I wont ever forget you!

As a parent i could not believe this...My heart aches for his family. Being a mother you feel your kids pain when their heart is hurt you feel it too. My daughter was close with skyler and she always said he would make her day brighter just by being there! He was a good friend to her. He always would make her laugh and smile! I was lucky to have skyler in my home where i got to see what everyone has been saying about him.. Yes he was the type to light up a Room when he walked into it. Yes he was Destined to be a Star. Yes he was a good person and loved by all that knew him. I remember he had alot of charactor and facial expressions to his stories that made him even more full of life and fun to lisson too. He really cared for my daughter and that I thank him for!! His Memories will live forever in our Hearts. I remember rachael was so excited when skyler let her wear his wrestling jacket home and how the 2 of them would play like they were Ninja's..too funny! This kid Skyler was a Star and now is one of the Brightest Stars in the Sky! Angel in the heavens!

It's like I hear other parents say the same thing and hopefully it is a way that God gives us to to bear some of the weight of this tragedy. It is a phone call that none of us want, but we know that it could have easily been any of the rest of us & still could be in the future. I hope and pray for you to feel the strength that could only come from Heaven. I pray that you will feel and be shown the love and respect that you deserve. I know that there are many parents and grandparents that feel the same way, and we couldn't mean it more if you were a brother or sister.

Skyler, was a really, really, really, awesome and one of a kind kid. He was a great friend too, funny, new just how to cheer you up. I'm sorry for the loss a wonderful person. To the Boring Family: May the Lord hold Skyler's spirit in safe keeping, may Skyler be remembered for his humorous acts, kind personality, and his love he shared while he attended school at Heritage High. I'm very sorry I wasn't able to make it to this special occasion, but my parents already scheduled for me to move to Arizona. If you'd like you can contact me by e-mail or on facebook. One More Thing, Skyler was a Remarkable Kid. I was Glad to be a Friend of his. :) May God Bless you.

I'm at a loss for words really. There will never be anything to say to make this horrific event bearable. I feel so much pain and remorse for the passing of this child. I didn't have the opportunity to have known this young man, I was just there to witness the unfortunate events of last nights nightmare. As a mother, and a human being, I can only imagine the feelings that are now dwelling in ones heart and soul. A feeling that will linger from last night til the end of time. I pray in time this sudden ache and the feeling of numbness will fade away into just pleasant memories of what you had and not of what was lost. I pray for the family that has lost a brother, cousin, nephew, grandson, and just a person to make you smile. I pray for the friends and the friends that was there to witness such a painful life changing occurrence. I pray for the fella behind the mask and mostly I pray for the father and MOTHER that has lost, not only their child, but there baby and their life as well as his. Everyone this story has reached lives has been impacted in some shape, form, or fashion, I know mine has. God bless you all.

I remember going to all the wrestling matches and cheering Skyler on he was amazing at everything he did. It was sad to hear what happened he was a sweet kid. I miss him dearly. My mom called me before I left for school this morning and she told me what happened. I will have your family in my prayers. Gone but never forgotten

I remember when Skyler was just a baby and at Grandma's house in Omaha. I chased that little one around their kitchen circle and had a blast. I've watched Skyler grow up and am just so proud of all his accomplishments. Their Grandma and Grandpa's love was so strong for those boys and I've always admired them for their strong family ties. My heart and prayers go out to you and all your family.

So very sorry about the death of Skyler. While I did not know him, I heard so many wonderful things about him and his bright future. There is no understanding to be had of events like this. There is only love.
